Common Questions
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is needed. The course takes you from beginner to production-ready,
covering all fundamentals from the ground up.
What DAW do I need?
The course is DAW-flexible, primarily covering Ableton Live, FL Studio, and Logic Pro.
We'll guide you on the best option for your goals.
Are classes live or pre-recorded?
Both! Classes are held live online so you can interact with instructors in real-time.
All sessions are also recorded for revisiting anytime.
How much time per week?
We recommend 8–12 hours per week — including live classes, practice sessions, and
working on your projects.
What equipment do I need?
A laptop or desktop with a DAW installed, a pair of studio monitors or headphones, and a stable internet connection.
More detailed equipment guidance is provided on enrollment.
Is there a certificate?
Yes — students who complete the 13-week program receive a certificate of completion
from Den Studios Academy.
